Just in time for Halloween, we’ve created this special blend of our sweet Yunnan Cloud black tea with apple and spices. Our Witches Brew is already a best-seller at The Pantry. But ssssh, here’s how to make the witches’ secret recipe at home! 1 measure of Yunnan Cloud, our incredibly sweet black tea from China, with hints of baked sweet potato and raisins.  Three slices of dessicated apple. We’ve sliced and slow-baked ours.  Cinnamon quill.  A sixth of a vanilla pod.  Grated nutmeg Three black peppercorns Leave it to infuse for three minutes… guaranteed to protect you against the evil spirits!

I’ve been choosing tiles today for behind our tea bar. I’ve gone for a good old splash of colour - red. They won’t be as pretty as these ones I spotted on holiday a few weeks ago in Morocco but they’ll look great. Ahh…thinking of Morocco and all that lovely warm sunshine seems a long distant memory and has made me crave some of Cafe des Epices delicious spiced tea or coffee on their beautiful terrace.
