Genmaicha is a blend of toasted rice kernels and sencha green tea from Uji (Japan). It was traditionally considered a peasant’s tea in Japan, because rice reduced the price of the tea, but today it’s drunk by all segments of society: comforting, nutty and uplifting, it’s very rich in vitamin B and antioxidants. We love it in the morning or with any meal.
